    Description

    Up for sale is a fantastic souvenir program from the Annual Ball of the Second Infantry of the Illinois National Guard, held on January 23, 1901.  This wonderful softcover volume has some water staining to the first handful of pages, but contains wonderful imagery and history related to the Spanish American War.  It measures 8x11".
    This contains many advertisements for various Chicago businesses and products.  Throughout there are rosters and many photos of officers in period uniform.  You will see a nice variety of medals, plumed caps, cords, and a nice variety of c.1890s-1900 uniforms.  The last dozen or so pages have a history of the Second Regiment ING, starting from 1875 to their service in Cuba.
