I think this is THE BEST Hairspring cleaner on the market available, bottled and made in USA. Shipping charge is due to a fragile marked padded envelope that I purchase for each order, the shipping label charge, and the amber bottle with threaded lid.
Will NOT harm shellac. Especially made for sticky hairsprings, but you will notice using it as a 3rd rinse or final rinse that it produces the best, cleanest, and contaminant free movement ready for reassembly. Provides the cleanest hole and cap jewels possible. Dries instantly with warm air. For use as a final rinse on the watch plates, train wheels, and all movement parts as well. It leaves a completely clean, oil free, solution free, surface on ALL parts of the watch after proper cleaning and rinsing solutions have been used. You can place the solution in a sealable jar that fits your cleaning basket diameter, which allows all parts in that basket to be immersed. In my Watchmaster Cleaning Machine I have a 3rd jar for a 3 minute cycle. It is shipped in a light colored amber bottle to prevent evaporation in your shop.
